What is accepted?
Food Scraps:
- Fruits & vegetables
- Meat, fish & bones
- Bakery & dry goods
- Eggs & eggshells
- Dairy products

Food-soiled & non-recyclable paper:
- Paper cups, plates, bowls (without plastic lining)
- Paper towels
- Kleenex
- Napkins
- Pizza boxes, cardboard tubes from toilet paper and paper towels
- Paper egg cartons
- Certified compostable plastic-lined plates, cups, bowls and containers (must be BPI certified)
- Parchment paper (BPI Certified only)

Other compostable items:
- Coffee grounds and filters
- Certified compostable plastics (BPI certified)
- Wood chopsticks, popsicle sticks and toothpicks
- Houseplant trimmings
- Hair and nail clippings

Not accepted:
- Yard waste (grass, leaves, brush)
- Plastic bags (take to grocery or retail stores for recycling)
- Milk cartons and juice boxes
- Animal waste, litter and bedding
- StyrofoamTM
- Non-certified compostable plastics
- Plastic lined paper products
- Recyclable items (paper, plastic, glass, metal, cartons)
- Diapers & wipes
- Feminine hygiene products
- Liquids (milk, juice or oils)
